Journey's Run
Some places are so magical that they leave an imprint on your heart forever. For me, that place has always been Journey’s Run.
About Journey's Run
My great-great grandparents purchased this home in 1887, and I am proud to be the 5th generation to carry on our family’s farming legacy. Over the decades, the farm supplied local grocery stores with everything from poultry, beef, and pork to wool, nuts, berries, apples, melons, vegetables, and hay and corn for livestock. Sheep once grazed these hills with the help of loyal herding dogs, and the land has always been alive with the work and rhythm of farming.

The rolling hills and mountain vistas still bring the same serenity they did when I was a child — soft, golden light at dawn and some of the most breathtaking sunsets you’ll ever see. The farmhouse itself has been lovingly modernized over the years, but its footprint has never changed. For generations, children have raced up and down the two staircases and through the open fields, just as I once did.

Today, the garden remains in the very same spot it has always been, now serving as a gathering place for family and friends. While much has evolved here at 485 Bingham Mountain Road, one thing has remained constant: my love for this land and my gratitude for calling it home.
Journey’s Run is more than a farmhouse — it is a place of history, beauty, and belonging. I’m so happy to welcome you here and to share the magic of this farm with you.
